Visual Media Concepts was founded in 2004 to create professionally produced web-based video that helps businesses more effectively attract and service customers. The owner, Mike Cornett, has been in the business of creating video since he graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1994. He is a three time Emmy nominee and was honored in 2012 with a Mercury Award for Best Audio/Video Production. His experience includes six years as the video editor for Dayton’s public television station, Think TV.

Visual Media Concepts produces high-quality video at realistic prices with the goal of exceeding clients’ expectations and surpassing their objectives. Satisfied clients cover the spectrum from sole proprietors to large industries, from non-profits to local governments. Mike is always willing to meet with customers to develop a plan that meets both their goals and their budget.

Visual Media Concepts specializes in video for use in websites. The internet has radically altered how businesses present their products and services. A website is, or should be, a powerful marketing tool with an extremely high ROI. It must, however, be engaging, creative, and professional to pull in all those customers just a click away. VMC creates videos that turn websites into magnets.
Mike and his wife, Kobi, live in historic St. Anne’s Hill with Leonard, the ninja Lovebird, and Luci, the Great Dane that serves as VMC’s mascot.
